GeoTour Plus
Danube GeoTour Plus unites 9 geoparks and research partners to tackle rural depopulation, rising tourism pressure, and skills gaps across 416 municipalities. The project supports vulnerable groups through engagement strategies and action plans, pilots new participatory GeoExperiences, and strengthens local SMEs. It advances smart visitor monitoring, fosters cross-border collaboration, and builds capacities for inclusive, sustainable territorial development. With a €2.29M budget, it enhances innovation management and ensures long-term sustainability of the Danube GeoTour product.
